Hi, I have a Hp/compaq dc7100 tower with a 2.8ghz HT cpu,512mb video card,2.5gb of ram,2 sata hdd's & a dvd/cdr drive. I was wondering if it is safe to reduce the fan speed to where I can not hear it as it quite loud. I'm not sure if it is the cpu or the system fan I can hear.
